Annie
I do this work because I spent much of my life believing I needed to become a different version of myself more healed, more spiritual, more evolved to finally feel at ease.
I tried many paths: counseling, astrology, consciousness expos, weekend workshops, psychedelic journeys, spiritual retreats. I was always waiting for something or someone to tell me who I really was. Along the way, I became very good at meeting the needs of others while quietly setting my own aside.
Over time, I began to see that I wasn't longing for another version of myself to discover or improve. I was longing for a place to land. A way to stay connected to myself without disappearing. A sense of internal safety that didn’t require constant effort or performance.
Rooted Resonance grew out of that lived experience not as a system for fixing yourself, but as an invitation to return, again and again, to what’s already here.
My approach
I work at the pace of the nervous system. That means we pay attention to what’s actually happening in your body, especially in moments where you might normally push through, over-function, shut down, or abandon yourself to keep things moving.
Rather than pathologizing your responses, we get curious about them. We notice how closeness, uncertainty, desire, and conflict register in your system. We practice staying with yourself while staying in relationship with others and with yourself. This work isn’t about mastery or performance. It’s about building the kind of internal safety that allows boundaries, choice, and authenticity to emerge naturally.
Who this work is for
I tend to work with people who have learned to set themselves aside in order to stay connected. People who are thoughtful, self-aware, and often carrying more than their share. You may be navigating romantic relationships, family dynamics, long-term bonds, shifting attachments, or the ongoing relationship you have with yourself. If you’ve learned how to cope, hold it together, or do it on your own but are tired of doing it alone this work offers a different way.
Why you can trust this work
My work is informed by direct lived experience, years of ongoing embodiment practice, deep study in nervous system regulation, and over a decade of trauma-informed care as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My role is to offer steadiness, attunement, and support as you learn how to come back to yourself with more choice and less force.
